Trump Taj Mahal Workers on Strike
Around one thousand union employees staged a walk-out at the Trump Taj Mahal casino and resort in Atlantic City New Jersey Friday. The strike comes amid a contract dispute with the resort's billionaire owner, Carl Icahn. The Taj Mahal dropped the workers' pension and health insurance about two years ago. It is the only casino unable to reach a deal with the union. The facility was previously run by Donald Trump. It was sold years ago, though he retains a ten percent stake in the company in exchange for use of his name.
